missing gymnastics

It takes alot out of someone to be truely dedicated to a sport. They have to miss hanging out with friends, work around work and school, can't get in any trouble, put up with the people on your tam, and much much more.
Once your dedicated it could get old, and annoying at times. Put you in a complete terrible mood. Been there done that. Some days you want to quit becuase you can't get a simple move on the bars, or that certain flip on the floor. Or maybe your coach keeps yelling at you for your hair, not pointing your toes, not running fast enough, or your legs are not srait enough doing a back walkover on the beam.
Other days you could everything perfect and feel like you own the sport.
Finally my freshman year or around there I couldn't stand gymnastics anymore. For what reason; I have no clue, i guess it was just that time (to retire so they call it.)
I miss gymnastics so much. I really do. some days I will catch myself doing my old beam routine on a line drawn on the road for example, other times I will find myself doing my old floor routine because i'm bored. I still remember the smell of the gym and the pointless details.
Anywho thats about it, now i'm a lame cheerleader that flys and tumbles.

helpful

Although gymnastics is completely its own sport it has helped me out in pretty much everything I do (physically). Such as cheer, dance, and I suppose my personality as well. How? well you see right now I'm in cheerleading and I'm one of the flyers (the girls who get tossed in the air) and in order to do that you have to be very balanced and tight in the air. The balance beam helped me with that because when your on the beam you have to keep yourself really balanced and its not as easy as it looks, I mean it is only 16 feet long and 4 inches wide so ya, its pretty tough. especially if your doing cartwheels, backwalkovers, jumps, twists, flips and turns on and off of it.

misssss

so i kinda regret making this whole blogger thing about gymnastics because nobody takes interest in it. but thats ok. I was in gymnastics on and off for a good three years. its one of those sports that not many people know how to do but its very fun to watch. I miss gymnastics in alot of ways, like being able to get better and better at what you do is pretty exciting as well is flippin on the floor, off the beam, over the vault table, and through the bars. But it does take alot of time out of your hands, you hardly get to hang out and do other hobbies because when your not at the gym you sleeping, going to school, or going to some meet across the state. so i guess basically what I'm trying to say is there is alot of work to it but it all pays off!

Gymnastics is a very entertaining sport. With flips and turns in every event. All together there are four events (for girls) they are floor, vault, beam, and bars. My personal favorite was floor because i loved to tumble. I started gymnastics when i was in the 6th grade and quit competing when I was starting level seven at the age of 13 because I was entering high school and wanted to become part of the belle fourche competive dance team.

Gymnastics really helped me in alot that I do today. sSch as cheer and dance with the sharpness that is required, flexability, and tumbling skills. I really do miss gymnastics.
